Sourcing & Sg&A Controller

Role Purpose The Sourcing & SG&A Controller will be responsible for supporting the business by performing duties related to inventory controls, profit and loss analysis, budgeting & forecasting, treasury, and intercompany transactions. This role will coordinate with the accounting team in discharging its duties and will be based at Kumasi. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for the disbursement of seed fund to the districts after management approval Supervision and reviewing transactions to ensure they meet the recognition requirement Ensuring the control accruals Supervise the reconciliation of accounts to ensure they are accurate and up to date. Supervising the zeroing process from the finance side to ensure appropriate accounting of the outstanding balances Ensuring the appropriate accounting and accrual of all sourcing related transactions at each month and year end with appropriate documentation for same. Liaising with appropriate authorities for prompt invoice submission and receivable collections. Responsible for the derivative transaction dealings with Corporate Treasury and local bankers and ensure the appropriate recognition of transactions in the financial statement. Supervise treasury functions Responsible for the budgeting and forecasting processes for direct sourcing and providing an analysis explaining major variations against the comparative. Responsible for the performance reporting of the direct sourcing activities on a monthly basis. Responsible for Corporate housekeeping and the lead person for all contract approval and administration processes. Responsible for all Group Reports Ensuring Direct and Indirect Tax compliance with regulatory authorities. Qualification and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or any other Numerate Discipline A Qualified Accountant of in a food processing company MS Office (Intermediate level of Excel, Word, & PowerPoint) Competent on control environment effectiveness Expert proficiency with Excel (Power Point is a plus) Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements Job category : Accounting, controlling, finance Industries : Food-processing industry Employment type : Permanent contract City : Kumasi Experience level : 2 to 5 years Educational level : Bachelor Spoken language : english›native Number of Position(s) : 1
