Key Responsibilities:Supervision of Cafe Staff: Supervise and coordinate the work of cafe staff, including baristas, servers, and kitchen staff. Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure that all team members perform their duties effectively and uphold company standards.Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Monitor service quality and intervene as needed to resolve issues and maintain customer satisfaction.Food and Beverage Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency. Conduct regular inspections of food preparation and service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing waste and controlling costs. Place orders with suppliers, receive deliveries, and update inventory records accurately.Cash Handling and Financial Management: Oversee cash handling procedures, including processing payments, balancing cash registers, and preparing daily sales reports. Monitor sales performance and expenses to optimize profitability and efficiency.Staff Scheduling: Prepare weekly schedules for cafe staff, taking into account business needs, staff availability, and labor budget constraints. Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate fluctuations in customer traffic and staffing requirements.Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and sanitation practices. Conduct regular inspections of the cafe premises to identify and address any hazards or maintenance issues.Promotions and Marketing: Assist in the planning and execution of promotions, special events, and marketing initiatives to attract customers and drive sales. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies.Team Development: Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork, morale, and productivity among cafe staff. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to encourage skill development and career growth.Qualifications:Previous Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory or management role in the food and beverage industry, preferably in a cafe or restaurant settings.Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their best performance. Excellent communication skills and the ability to delegate tasks effectively.Customer Focus: Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for cafe guests.
