Roles & Responsibilities:Assist in developing and executing the HR strategic plan throughout the company nationwide in Ghana.Work closely with T&D to implement organizational development programs including corporate culture development, change management, teamwork development, internal communication and Induction and Orientation of all new Recruits as suits to their Positions, etc.Ensure all recruitment policies and procedures are aligned and recommend for improvements; in-charge of recruitment and placement of senior levels in Ghana operationsReview all HR policies, procedures and practices to ensure they are aligned within Ghana operations and to conform the best practice and country laws.Support in overseeing the execution and implementation the operation of the HR function of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and Performance Appraisal System with Group GM HR's Team and Department Managers to ensure it is effectively used to assist in analyzing statistical data and reports to support appropriate decision making.Review the Performance Management Policy and Procedure alone with Performance Appraisal System to update and modify as required to boost and enhance People's performance.Use the Performance Management Appraisal to determine the Development and succession planning and provide Policy and Procedure for the Succession Planning and Peoples' Development Programs such as Management Trainees, Supervisor Development and Executive Development Etc.Responsible for the compensation Management and payroll activities and its accuracy. Plan and program all payroll activities to be aligned with the company's objectives.Work with Plant HR Team & line managers to plan and deliver HR and T&D initiatives and address special needs of an individual, operation or employee Engagement and Motivational programs.Provide advice and guidance to develop and empower the local HR teams and drive HR Key Performance Indicators and results.Support in overseeing the execution and implementation of the compliance function and drive Business Sustainability through Social Intervention and Drive any CSR related activities, programs and ad-hoc projects as needed.Work with the Functional Heads and HR Teams to Promote the company as "Employer Branding" and become the Choice of Employer in Ghana through Company Magazine, Branding Activities and budgeting resources for Employer BrandingRequirements:Language SkillGood in both English and local languagesMain Languages in GhanaOther specific Knowledge / Skills / Requirements:Excellent communication, listening and influencing skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailsGood people development mindset and skill-setsGood facilitation and presentation skillsGood experience in conflict resolutionExperience in multi-national, multi-country environment.Experience in manufacturing, trading or apparel industry is a plusYears of Experience: (At least 10 years in HR working experience including relevant experience in Training & Development, with at least 5 years in managerial role and senior position)Management Competence:Able to apply strong business acumen and translate them to HR initiatives.Able to implement and manage all aspects of the HRM function in line with current practices and trends.Able to build and gain the trust and confidence of colleagues and to handle confidential matters discreetly.Responsive, innovative and creativeHigh learning agilityResult-oriented and multi-taskingAbility to work independently with operational units as well as head office professionals.Experience in driving global/corporate project.Team participation & team leadershipPersonality:Initiative, dynamic, positiveCan-do attitudeFriendly, culturally sensitive to global workforceStrong sense of Values and EthicsPersuasive & convincingAbility converts the theoretical into down-to-earth practical adviceWork Location/ TravelingGhana Accra orOther Factories in Tema and any other country that require to travel for official workCareer PathGeneral Manager HRLocation:Accra.Employment Type:Full TimeSalary Range:Attractive
