Head, Risk Management

Responsibilities:Establish framework, procedures and practices to ensure that operational, strategic and reputational risk is appropriately identified, measured, monitored and controlled.Oversees the implementation of operational risk approach and strategies that are aligned with the Group's vision, mission and corporate objectives.Identifies specific business risks in light of strategy and business specific operational changes.Formulates and ensures compliance with sensitive operational risk policies.Develop and risk mitigation models for measuring and controlling strategic and reputational risk.Develop strategies for mitigating all business and operational risk.Skills and Competencies:Advanced knowledge of operational strategic and reputational risk measurement methodologiesInsurance operationsStrategies focus/ OrientationInitiativeORSAAnalytical skills/ Problem solvingQualification:A good first degree in any disciplineRelevant Masters' degree will be an advantageRecognized professional certification in insurance or risk management will be an advantageMinimum of 5-8 years post qualification experience in operational risk management within the financial services industry.Salary Range: NegotiableLocation: AccraEmployment Type:Full Time
