Tractor Operator

Reports Directly To: Auto Mechanic Supervisor : Onsite at HPW Fresh and Dry Ltd, Adeiso, E/R. Job Purpose Maintenance work in all the auto mechanical equipment in the facility Job Duties / Responsibilities Driving and carrying out regular maintenance and repairs of tractors and other attachments. Operating tractors safely and efficiently. Performing daily inspections of tractors and other attachments like tankers, trailers etc and ensuring they are well-lubricated. Using tractors to transport materials. Reporting any faults or concerns to the supervisor and other relevant stakeholders. Maintain equipment and tools in good condition. Ensure tractor is kept clean, tidy and in good working condition when not in operation. Assist the Admin Officer to ensure insurance and registration is updated according to schedule. Log official trips, daily mileage, fuel consumption, oil changes, etc. always. Follow all food safety standards. Follow all health and safety standards. Submit weekly reports on the machine and equipment maintenance. Required Skills or Experience Minimum of SHS, Technical Certificate or evidence of Training in the operation of machinery. Possession of Driver or Operator’s License (E). Good interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and with less supervision. Effective time-management skills, ability to multi-task and be able to work under pressure. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment.
