Job Details:
While learning on the job, you will assist with running a fully functional help desk for troubleshooting, installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing and solving technical applications, hard/software problems either over the phone or in person.
Support in the testing and maintaining of operating systems, application software and system management tools. Proactively ensure the highest level of systems and infrastructure is available.
Provide procedural support to documentation and relevant reports. Support the roll-out of new applications/ solutions. Establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals. Liaise with Clients and other IT personnel for problem resolution support and undertake any other duties assigned.
Qualification and Requirements
Interested candidates must have a Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with at least one (1)-two (2) years’ experience in the same or similar role.
Must have Knowledge and experience in IT, Networking, Hardware, Linux, along with the understanding in network technologies and digital transformation.
Experience with programming and web development.
Experience in the Telecommunications sector, VOIP & Asterisk will be an added advantage.
Be creative, passionate, and excited about the ever-changing technology world.
The ideal candidate must have excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients to establish what their concerns are and explain the solutions provided.
Have the ability to solve issues, work well in a busy team, prioritize workload, and pay attention to details.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite coupled with a strong application of IT software, hardware or programs and operating systems.
Have the willingness to learn and develop new skills and able to deal with a wide range of issues. The individual must be flexible and willing to work on shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.
