My client, a leading mining business who have in recent years experienced significant growth in West Africa, currently seeks a Senior Accountant to be based at their main hub in Ghana.
Reporting to the CFO and working with a tightly knit team, the role will include but not be limited to the following:
Improving the integrity of all management and financial accounting.
Ownership of month end financial reporting.
Budgeting and forecasting including assisting the Financial Controller with the annual reforecasting process.
Continued development of KPIs, working closely with operations and functional heads.
Hands on management of day to day tasks such as payroll/nominal ledger when required.
Training of team members, taking time to ensure that local talent learn and improve daily.
Ad hoc projects

The successful candidate will be an Accountant from heavy industry. Given the budget we are open to both qualified and part qualified Accountants
This is a FIFO roster with flights, accommodation, benefits and bonus included.
