Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
1. Project Cost Planning
a. Preparation of project cost estimating and planning
b. Prepare project budget and manage organization Subcontractors relationship
2. Project Cost Control
a. Tracking project cost
b. Assess project deviations and adjusting budget projections accordingly
c. Measure and value the work done on site and arrange payments
d. Ensure project is within agreed and acceptable budget
e. Provide advice on contractual claim
3. Preparation of tender and contract documents
a. Prepare bills of quantities, tender and contracts documentation
4. Manage contractual relationships with consultants and clients
a. Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers
b. Negotiating and drawing up contract with vendors
c. Responsible for the payment of subcontractors
5. Preparation of Project Reporting
a. Ensure that the financial position of the project is accurately reported
b. Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly project reports
Skills
Work under little supervision
Team work
Knowledge in MS excel and ability to learn how to use specialist software
Ability to prepare reports that are easily understood by wide array of people
Ability to develop dimensional drawings for project elements using computer aided programs
Attention to detail and methodical approach to work
Analytical skills
Qualification
BSc. Building Technology with 3-years’ experience
HND Construction Technology with 5-Years’ Minimum Experience in similar fields
