Role & Responsibilities:
The Operator Technician oversees specific production lines during production hours, with full responsibility for line management. The incumbent should have extensive experience in production machinery operation and some mechanical engineering experiences. He/she will provide line supervision and basic line maintenance on assigned lines.
Results / Accountabilities
Start up and shut down processing lines.
Train personnel on proper operational procedures.
Ensure cooperation and teamwork within team.
Assist in the installation/replacement of new parts on the production line
Keep production logs
Ensure clean production equipment and work areas
Provide production progress and/or change over reports to shift supervisors.
Maintains inventory of tools and PPEs issued to team members.
Member of Plant First Response Team.
Member of the production on-call system.

Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
HND/MET III or EET III (Mechanical / Electrical Engineering) or its equivalent
At least three(3) years’ experience/competence in Operations, Maintenance, and Process Control
Excellent Knowledge of the food technology and manufacturing process
Preferred skills:
Coaching and interpersonal skills.
Very strong computer skills.
Strong communicator (both oral & written).
Monitoring and controlling ability.
Job scheduling skills.
Demonstrated commitment to achieving organizational and personal goals.
Proven ability to work well in a team environment.
