Role PurposeThe Analyst will be a key member contributing to the development and maintenance of information security policies, focusing on assessing and prioritizing risk across the organization, compliance with information security policies, and the development and reporting of information security metrics. Role Responsibility•Implements security controls, risk assessment framework, and program that align to regulatory requirements, ensuring documented and sustainable compliance that aligns and advances Vodafone Ghana business objectives.•Provide weekly and monthly cyber security reports.•Trains (Security Awareness training), guides, and acts as a resource on security assessment functions to other departments within Vodafone. User access managements and reviews•Evaluates risks and develops security standards, procedures, and controls to manage risks. Improves security positioning through process improvement, policy, automation, and the continuous evolution of capabilities.•Contributes to information security polices, standards, and procedures and work with other organizational participants from legal, human resources, information technology, Corporate Security, the business units and others that have to implement the policies.•Updates security controls and provides support to all stakeholders on security controls covering internal assessments, regulations, protecting Personally Identifying Information (PII) data, and adherence to ISO 27001 standards.•Manages user accesses, supplier and vendor security reviews.•Security Event and Information Management, logging & monitoring, Identity Access management•Provide internal technology security expertise by defining and influencing appropriate policies, technologies, processes and controls to reduce risk.•Performs other related security duties when required.•Supports and Ensure Cyber Security Baseline Compliance across the business.Professional / Technical Competencies•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent applicable experience required. •Minimum 2yrs+Telecoms/Banking industry experience desirable.•Working familiarity with information security frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST, OWASP, CIS, MITRE ATT&CK) preferred•Must have, or be willing to obtain, a compliance certification.Not a perfect fit?Worried that you don't meet all the desired criteria exactly?
