Crewing And Training Assurance Coordinator

Overall Purpose Of The Job Conduct, coordinate and assist in all internal/external training of offshore and personnel and other related works in Accra and Takoradi. Principal Accountabilities Provide assistance to the Country Manager of OLPS and Yinson Operations Superintendent to: Evaluate the effectiveness of training and keeping the competence strategy for onshore and offshore personnel, Follow-up the competence assurance and training coordination for the FPSO ‘JAK” personnel as per competence assurance matrix, Ensure to keep training records of all offshore trainees, Provide high quality training to Ghanaian personnel newly employed, Develop and maintain training material to the highest standards for internal courses, Assist in maintenance related activities at the Base Office. Assist the Operations Superintendent in training/competence assurance, Compile training materials, presentations, lectures for in-house courses, Manage the delivery of training/development programmes, Assist in organization of onshore courses, syllabus, course time frame and quotations for approval by the Country Manager and Yinson Operations Manager, Train the Production control room operators of FPSO “JAK’ using dynamic simulator on-board FPSO and ashore at Base Office, Participate in tuning of Process Topside all controllers with assistance from FPSO DCS Operator and Operations Superintendent Control Computer Based Training (CBT) for all FPSO crewmembers and arrange such training for all new employees with a special focus on safety aspects of work offshore, Optimize the training to determine the appropriate training programme through identification of needs of offshore personnel, Review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and assessments, Coordinate arranged and approved training with Yinson Operations Superintendent and HR Ensure that statutory training requirements are met as per competence matrix, Assist and coordinate activities with logistics and technical department, when required, Local content reporting to regulatory bodies and companies Other services as may be required Required Skills or Experience Technical university degree in Engineering or equivalent training scheme at higher level. Very good English written and spoken, Abilities to lead and motivate a team. Experience in similar job roles will be an added advantage.
