Chef/Cook

Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation, production and baking of pastries, breads, rolls, and desserts.Set time and speed controls for mixing machines, or blending machines, so that ingredients will be mixed or cooked according to instructions.Measure or weigh flour or other ingredients to prepare batters, doughs, fillings, or whipped cream, using scales or graduated containers.Prepare garnishes as needed for baked goods.Maintain adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensure their proper storage and refrigeration.Keep spoilage/waste to a minimum by ordering and utilizing proper quantities and rotating products.Utilize all leftovers into usable products.Clean, break down, and put away all baking equipment including ovens, mixers, proofer, floors, freezer, and refrigerators.You shall report to the Bakery Supervisor.Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.Qualification:Strong skills in culinary or relevant certification are preferred.Proven experience working in a professional kitchen setting.Ability to prepare fresh juices and beveragesStrong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.Creativity and passion for food and culinary arts.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Location:AccraEmployment Type:Full TimeSalary Range:Attractive
