Accountant

Key Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of financial accounting, including but not limited to:Recording and maintaining accurate financial transactions in Tally software.Preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.Conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.Handle tax issues and ensure proper filing of tax returns:Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local tax regulations.Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations, and advise management on potential implications for the organization.Oversee cash flow management:Monitor cash flow and liquidity position, and provide recommendations for optimizing cash utilization.Prepare cash flow forecasts and budgets to support strategic decision- making.Manage fixed assets and depreciation of assets ledger:Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, including acquisition, depreciation, and disposal.Calculate and record depreciation expenses in accordance with accounting standards.Provide management accounting support:Prepare and analyze management reports, variance analysis, and financial performance metrics.Assist management in making informed business decisions based on financial analysis and insights.Requirements:Qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of post- chartered experience.Proficiency in Tally software and other accounting tools.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial management practices.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to non- financial stakeholders.Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Location:Akuse, AccraEmployment Type:Full TimeSalary Range:Attractive
