Warehouse Technician

Job description:
Provides general support for warehouse, shipping, and receiving performing any combination of tasks needed to complete orders, replenish stock, ship and/or receive parts.
Responsibilities:
Assist shipping and receiving by verifying paperwork, quality and quantity
Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes placing orders in delivery area
Pull small, medium, and large orders from shelves
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
Maintain inventory control by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer
Assist in counting of physical inventory: cycle counts, consolidating bins, marking stock items, etc.
Kitting of orders and prepare orders for shipment, prepare shipping paperwork
Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
Prepare parcels for mailing
Maintain safe and clean work environment
Maintain professionalism in the work place
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:
Valid driver's license
Able to drive sit down forklift
Minimum of high school diploma or GED
Ability to lift boxes and specific materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Standing and walking, bending 75% daily
Sitting / data entry 25% daily
Detail oriented
Dependable
Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not required
Must be able to understand and comply with verbal instructions
Must be able to meet the physical demands typical in a warehouse environment including but not limited to grasping and fine manipulations with hands, reaching, squatting
