Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Sales Management
Manage a portfolio of clients in industrial, Mining & Research sectors
Perform product demos and presentations
Conduct general product installations at client sites
Conduct performance analysis for individual and overall clients
Achieve sales targets specified as directed by management
Develop and track sales forecasts together with management
Installation, Maintenance and Repair
Install, maintain, verify performance and repair analytical equipment at customer sites ensuring best-in-class service within established time frame.
Complete assigned preventive maintenance calls at customer sites within prescribed time frame and established performance standards.
Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to the Installation, warranty, and service agreement provisions to provide adequate billing information to the customer.

Information/Asset Management
Maintain up to date electronic and repair documentation for dispatch, inventory and service support functions of the job.
Perform timely uploads and downloads of required data to ensure the integrity of the service system.
Accountable for all assigned company assets.

Qualification and Experience
The successful candidate for this role:
Should have a first degree in preferably in the natural sciences, electronics or chemical engineering from a reputable University.
Expertise on laboratory and process instruments
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, repair, and provide qualification services
Strong interpersonal skills; strong team player with a customer satisfaction focus
Must have worked at least four (4) years after National Service in a service / technical support role.
Proficiency in French (spoken and written) will be beneficial
Experience working in a laboratory or in a manufacturing plant as an analyst will be beneficial but not required
Proficient in the use of MS Office suite – especially Excel, PowerPoint
Should be self-motivated, organized, and results driven.
Should have excellent verbal and oral communication and presentation skills.
Should work independently in a small, innovative and effective team.
Must have a clean driver’s license and able to drive
Must be willing to travel within the regions of Ghana and to other West African countries

Other Job Requirement
Must have the ability to gain technical product knowledge within a short period
Certification from training on equipment in at least one major line of equipment from previous role(s).
Knowledge of laboratory safety practices as defined by the Company and/or the customer’s site safety code.
Additional requirements include the ability to follow written and verbal directions, read and understand technical bulletins and service manuals, work under time constraints, maintain alertness and concentration, work safely with potential electrical, chemical, radiologic, and biologic hazards using universal precautions
Maintain high standard of personal presentation
Represent company in a professional manner at all times
Undertake ad-hoc projects pursued by management of the company

Company will pay a base salary, full contribution to Social Security, and sales commission for leads developed and maintained independently by successful candidate.
