Position Summary:
Provide support, supervision and cross functional direction in the aspects of supply chain management including purchasing, sub contract execution, scheduling, shipping, receiving and inventory. Is the resident expert on the company ERP system to insure materials, components, sub-assemblies, assemblies are procured/produced in compliance with customer needs and requirements.
Description of Duties:
Develops appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction while controlling cost.
Lead the supply chain department in executing best practices and measuring performance thru defined KPI's
Plans, manages and coordinates all activities related to sourcing and procurement.
Plans, manages and coordinates all activities related to inventory.
Plans, manages and coordinates all activities related to shipping and receiving
Plans, manages and coordinates all activities related to manufacturing and supply chain scheduling
Interface with program schedulers to insure manufacturing and purchasing high level schedules align
Interface with manufacturing engineers and production with the identification and resolution of potential internal or external bottlenecks or supplier issues
Perform other duties as assigned
Able to work overtime/weekends as needed to meet production schedules
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in either manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, supply chain, business, or related field and 8-10 years related experience in the aerospace industry or in a related area

U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status is required for this position.
