Oversees the completion of construction projects and ensure structures are durable and safe

Job Description
Prepare reports, designs and drawings
Provide technical advice on safe design and construction
Monitor and inspect all work undertaken by contractors to ensure structural soundness
Review blueprints and plans to verify structural integrity of materials and designs
Obtain planning and building regulations approval
Create structural models by using computer design software
Must have knowledge on construction methods, materials and legal regulations
Have at least 3 years work experience in Structural Engineering
Have experience in project management
Willing to travel around the country
Must have bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering ( Master's degree will be an advantage)
Must be a member of Institute of Engineers
