Senior Travel Advisor

Responsibilities:We are seeking to hire a candidate with strong leadership qualities and excellent customer service skills, understanding the importance of the customer life cycle in our organization.Possess strong written and verbal communication skills and able to communicate with customers in a friendly and efficient manner.Capable of making recommendations suitable for unique client needs.Requirements:Minimum 7 years successful work experience as a Travel Advisor/Tour Planner in an established travel company.Build and develop tour itineraries for business and leisure.Curate interesting tour programs, and modify itineraries based on clients' unique requirements.Update travel guides with pertinent information obtained through research of reviews.Develop and maintain business relationships with suppliers including hotels, resorts, airlines, ground transportation & MICE venues.Proactively manage unforeseen challenges and complaints to determine the appropriate course of action.Be proficient with geography and knowledge of Ghana and neighboring countries including Togo, Benin, and Cote D'Ivoire.Exceptional knowledge of travel software (computer reservations systems and e-travel).Be proficient in various areas of travel (domestic, international, business or leisure).Ability to present, persuade, negotiate, and communicate effectively.Demonstrable ability to work under pressure including deadlines and timelines while maintaining a Professional demeanor.Outstanding organizational, time management, and improvisational skills.Proven history developing and maintaining business relationships and strategic partnerships.Proficiency with computers, including writing programs, such as Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Compile and provide useful and competitive analysis to management.Location:AccraEmployment Type:Full TimeSalary Range:Attractive
