Job Title: Remote Business Intelligence Analyst

The Remote BI Analyst will play a key role within our organization’s Insights team contributing to the development and maintenance of BI applications that help our clients make data-driven decisions. Tasks will involve collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders to build reports and visualizations, define data models, and training end-users.

An ideal candidate will be a team player who has experience implementing reporting and data visualization solutions as part of a greater data strategy. Candidate must possess creative problem-solving skills and have a desire to build data products that clients will love. This is a junior to mid-level position in a growing and highly collaborative team.

Position Objectives:
Partner with stakeholders to build BI solutions that are trusted, well understood, and enable self-service
Perform analysis of existing reports and products for any new requirements to prevent duplicated efforts
Consolidating and replacing existing SSRS reports with self-service dashboards
Support existing products by implementing change requests
Create and maintain technical documentation and data dictionaries
Train users on how to interact with reports and dashboards

Required Skills:
4-year degree with a major or minor in a STEM discipline
1-2 years of experience building reports, dashboards, data visualizations in an enterprise setting
1-2 years of experience using SQL and Power BI
Familiar with SSRS, SSIS
Strong communication skills including the ability to explain complex technical concepts
Desire to help users make better and faster business decisions
Ability to create insightful measures and visualizations
Ability to identify and reverse engineer business logic within the ETL process
Strong project management and organizational skills
Familiarity with Snowflake, Matillion, or Salesforce is a plus
