Job DescriptionYour responsibilities will include but not limited to:Build up and manage the West Africa for the Automotive Aftermarket (AA) divisionIncrease turnover, profit and market share of AA sales West African marketImplement the AA strategy and ensure targets achievement under consideration of available resourcesResponsible for all Independent Aftermarket Market (IAM) activities in the region on distributor-, wholesaler- and workshop levelLead all Country Sales Managers in the sub-region as well as disciplinary leader of sub-regional Managers, Customer Supply Chain Services, Customer Marketing Services, and Technical Services as far as they are located in the same countryApply leadership instruments as department sub-regional head, implement a growth culture, internalize and apply Bosch leadership principlesAnticipate trends and their impact on own area of responsibilityResponsible for regional budgetEstablish, maintain and develop customer relationships: Drive and support acquisition of new customers which fit the AA strategyNegotiate, agree and confirm annual customer agreements/contracts: personally or supported by CSM (Country Sales Manager)Support expansion of Bosch Service network.Systematic realization and exploitation of business opportunities and systematic introduction of new productsConclusion of target agreements with customers at the beginning of each year, systematic follow-up during the yearRegular market/customer visits and up to 40% travellingArranging for regular sales-oriented product trainingsManagement of profit and loss calculation, business planning, and PCR (Price Change Rate), methods of accountingImplement project planning and management, project presentation and documentation / project controllingQualificationsCompleted Honors degree in Engineering / Business Administration / Economic Sciences or related fieldMBA degree or similar qualification requiredAdditional InformationRequirements7+ years working experience in a business-to-business automotive spare parts sales including IAM and distribution channels7 + years working experience in sales and marketing management environment in a leadership roleSolid technical understanding related to the automotive industryPrevious exposure to role with P&L responsibility or similarExperience working with cross-functional and intercultural teamsExcellent negotiation skillsFamiliar with working in a Multinational/ Corporate environmentSolid communication skills in English (Speak / Read / Write)German and/or Portuguese language skills would be an advantageFully computer literate in MS Office packages, Outlook and SAPPersonal Characteristics;Can do attitudeTarget orientated and self-drivenHigh customer centricityAbility to perform under pressureStrategic and strong analytic thinkingAptitude to motivate team to achieve outstanding results
