For one of our clients, we are looking for a Production Manager to intervene in Ghana. Production machines installed are: CNC Rolling Machines Thk 25 and 90 mmCNC Profile Bending MachinesCNC Profile Drilling and Cutting MachineCNC Plate Drilling and Cutting MachineCNC Angle/Profile Punching and Shearing MachineCNC Pipe Profiling MachineCNC GuillotineCNC Plasma cutting tables We are now looking for an experienced Production Manager to operate the production of this workshop from the commissioning of those machines to the final ramp up, monitoring the production in terms of quantity and quality and organizing his teams to optimize their skills. The Production Manager will be assisted by a QA/QC Manager on his tasks.Reporting Responsibilities : §The Production Manager reports to the Operations Director (expatriate) of the company. Role Purpose : The Production Manager is responsible for efficient resource allocation, schedules, cost, and technical adequacy of workshop production and ensuring all items are completed in the most cost effective and competitive manner. This position manages all aspects of the operations of this workshop: stocks, machining, maintenance, worker monitoring, reporting to management. Responsibilities: §Develop and implement workshop procedures to ensure the workshop achieves its target productivity.§Improve the organizational processes, improve quality, production, and efficiency of each machines.§Manage all aspects of the day-to-day activities of the workshop to ensure timely completion of production. §Responsible to lead machining strategy for each production by working hand in hand with the other managers to make sure there is an efficient allocation of resources. §Lead and coordinate his teams and foster on a training plan to improve their skills.§Coordinate due diligence activities with other internal groups to ensure proper stocks feeding or maintenance.§Raise and Review of workshop weekly productivity report and transmit to persons involved.§Construct contractual arrangements for project development in line with head office directives.§Ensure compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements within relevant legal jurisdictions of operation under Ghana Operations.§Forecast requirements, prepare an annual budget, schedule expenditures, analyse variances, initiating corrective actions.§Fosters relationships with customers, third parties and/or other relevant parties that will enhance the reputation of the company in relevant markets in Ghana and outside Ghana. Competences Required : §ust speak English fluently. §Must have at least 5 to 10 years of experience in CNC production lines and preferably for oil & gas or Structure industry §Must have experience in working in Africa. §Must have a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or production engineering.
