Job Summary Responsible for managing production and distribution function for all supplies to the outlets. Minimum Qualification: OthersExperience Level: Mid levelExperience Length: 3 years Job Description/Requirements Reporting To Managing DirectorDepartment: Central KitchenSupervises: Driver and CK/Production AssistantsKey ResponsibilitiesPlans and performs work that involves CK ordering from complexes.Receive supplier products, check for right quantity, size, colour and shape as on invoice.Inspect all CK supplier deliveries as per each purchase order and with right pricing.Return goods which are not in good condition and right specification as ordered.Unload all goods supplied from supplier vehicle and arrange in right order of packing in freezer.Shelve all product according to like terms separately in various freezers and in FIFO parking order.Pack all products delivered in their right allocated location in the Central Kitchen.Label all store items according to their right system names as can be recognized by the team.Always keep work area of central kitchen clean and void of insects and bacterial.Enter all products according to the supplier last purchase cost price excluding all taxes in the system.Deliver CK orders to complexes as and when they order according to the schedule agreed on daily basis.Bill all deliveries to complexes with right prices as on system.Maintain an inventory of meats, chicken, cheese, vegetables etc. at stock level.Check for all expiry date of stocks to prevent spoilage. (Slow moving items)Report all nearing expiring date of all products to management for further action.Keep records of all breakages and spoilages in the store for inspection and disposal.Replenish stock as and when it gets to re-order levels.Prepare purchase request for approval by MD before ordering from supplier.Keep records to maintain inventory control, cost containment and to assure proper stock levels in CK.Keep Store room and all products in store clean at all times.Periodic stock take mostly partial on weekly and comprehensive end of month.Operates simple office machines (which may in some cases include computer assisted inventory, automotive equipment, and may operate a forklift or other light equipment used in moving heavy items).May participate in the selection, training and supervision of subordinates, when applicable.Performs related and peripheral site-specific duties as required.Assist in preparing Gross Profit calculations for the Central Kitchen.Maintain bin card for all products in your custody – Central Kitchen.Maintaining high food safety standards and comply with HACCP systemsDirectly Managing Food hygiene, OSH and Compliance to the law (Food Act254, OSHA 2007).Qualification and RequirementsHACCP and food safety training and certification is critical.A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar roleAbillity to drive and posses a valid driver’s licence.In depth knowledge of kitchen health and food safety regulationsAbility to work in a fast paced environmentExcellent problem- solving and conflict management abilities..Other Skills RequiredStrong negotiating skills and able to build and maintain relationships on all levels.Targeted, energetic and able to motivate other people.Possesses good communication & presentation skillsTrustworthy, ambitious and able to work highly independently and in teams.
