Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Newport Academy remote services parent coach will work with parents of teens who are waiting to enter or return home from treatment at Newport Academy. The coach will utilize a strong relational and attachment-based approach. The coach will work part time with the ability to make their own schedule as long as client needs are met. The coach will receive weekly clinical supervision from program director. Coaches will work cooperatively with teen mentors (when assigned to their case). The role of the coach will be in person or teletherapy based varying from family to family.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Strongly relationship based in clinical approach.
Experience working with families and parents.
Ability and willingness to work with clients remotely via HIPPA compliant video conferencing, phone calls or texting.
Ability and willingness to respond to client in between sessions and in crisis moments.
Strong team player and ability to accept constructive feedback.
Ability and willingness to participate in weekly individual and group supervision.
Ability to work up to 15 hours per week.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications
Basic Education and Experience Required:
Fully Licensed clinician.
