Job Description
The Operations Administrator/Supervisor :
Reports to the Operations Manager;
Has no subordinates;
Works during office hours.
Purpose of the function
Prepares the administration for the execution of all operational activities;
Schedules the staff and infrastructure for the execution of all operational activities;
Registers and reports all executed operational activities;
Keeps the daily control of the products transported through the facility;
Prepares and reports all documentation for all operational activities.
Main activities
Communicates with internal staff and external instances (agents, surveyors, terminals) about the execution and reporting of the operational activities;
Does the administration of all operational activities;
Does the daily, weekly and monthly reporting;
Issues all transport documentation, for vessels and trucks, including customs documents;
Prepares the daily operational planning;
Reports the outcome of operations to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
Has a medium level administrative/logistics education (high school + level);
Has at least a few years of experience with port logistics;
Has experience with bulk petroleum transportation;
Masters English verbally and in writing;
Has good computer skills (MS Office);
Has a hands-on mentality and is a good communicator.
