Main Duties and Responsibilities:Form part of the core leadership of the Clinics Management TeamProvide out-patient care and refer appropriately outside area of specialtyLead the Medical Team in providing care, monitoring and evaluation of patients on detention.Prepares doctors notes as well as discharge notes where appropriate.Perform clinical procedures within competencyLiaises with relevant departments in ensuring optimum care to clients/patientsParticipate in quality improvement programsServes as the Lead Prescriber and represent them in leadership meetingsProvide direct supervision of the Maternal Health DepartmentProvide support and information to patients / relatives as and when necessary.Participate in morbidity/mortality meetings, and case management meetingAccurately document patients' care and management information on the EMRRequired Skills or Experience:MB ChB or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience.A valid license to practice in GhanaContinuous Professional Training across a wide range of clinical issuesGood practice in Outpatient and inpatient careKnowledge of health and safety relevant to this postComputer literacy and web applicationBenefits:This position offers competitive base salary and allowances that covers traditional benefits such asTier 1 and 2 pension contributions and paid time off (PTO).
