A Reputable Non bank financial institution seeks the services of an IT Support Officer

Job Description
Diagnose and troubleshoot level one and two problems which are related to personal computer, software, hardware, networking and internet
Liaise between the bank and service providers in times of services down time
Assisting branches in any IT related issues
Carry out regular routine maintenance of hardware and software bank wide
Properly document all network incidences, topology and configuration changes
Troubleshoot LAN and WAN connection problems
Network performance monitoring and reporting with emphasis on bandwidth utilization and availability
Configure Cisco Routers, switches and firewalls
Security standards – maintaining network security standards that provide maximum protection to the bank from external and internal attacks
Security Architecture – making sure the security architecture remains relevant and efficient to provide minimum risk to the bank
Qualification and Requirements
Minimum of a 1 st Degree with a 2 to 3 years post national service experience on the job in the financial sector
HND/ Diploma with a 3 to 4 years post national service experience on the job in the financial sector
Abreast with both computer Hardware and software
Has obtained Certified technical trainer (CTT+), Network+, PDI 1, lucent Network routing, and other aspects of qualification will be of an advantage
