The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, software development methodologies, and application support.Responsibilities:Project Management:Lead and manage software projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against key milestones.Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, testers, and stakeholders, to achieve project objectives.Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and communicate project status updates to stakeholders.Application Support:Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing applications, including diagnosing and resolving issues, and implementing enhancements or fixes as needed.Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as updates, patches, and backups, to ensure the stability and reliability of applications.Monitor application performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and implement changes based on business needs and user requirements.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain comprehensive documentation for software projects, including requirements, design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.Generate reports and metrics to track project progress, performance, and support activities, and communicate findings to management and stakeholders.Training and Knowledge Sharing:Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate the adoption and usage of new applications and features.Share expertise and best practices with team members to foster continuous learning and improvement.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Proven experience in software project management, including planning, execution, and delivery of projects on time and within budget.Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.Experience in application support and maintenance, including troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.Proficiency in programming languages, databases, and web technologiesExcellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.Preferred Qualifications:Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project).Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
