Job Summary: • Collaborate with the business’s functional areas to analyze, develop, document, communicate business requirements, and support user testing to achieve business goals Job Context • Highly dynamic and competitive telecommunication industry • Advancement in global technology trends • MTN Group business standards and practices • Diverse cultural environment • Segmentation structure implication • Performance driven environment • Developing sophisticated client base Job Role • Elicit business requirements, document, scope, present them and get them approved / signed them off. • Define solution or Business Requirement Document or Product roadmap • Further requirement analysis (FRD, Requirement models and so on…) • Identify or recommend IT team (internal or external) • Finalize solution and its scope • Researching possible software solutions • Performing other tasks that may be assigned to the post, based on the job requirement. • Supporting project teams during the analysis and planning stages of software development Qualification Required & Experience Education • A Degree in Engineering / Computer Science. • ITIL and other software and system certification • COBIT5: Business Framework for the Governance and Management of Enterprise IT • Certification in BA Experience • Minimum of 3 years of relevant IT experience • Telecoms experience necessary Competencies Professional/Technical Competencies • Good knowledge in database administration, policies and procedures • Knowledge in programming language, software application installation and administration • Good knowledge in the following systems: VB6/.NET, Oracle and SQL Script. • Good knowledge in UNIX/LINUX System Administration • Very Good Knowledge System integration & Architecture design • Very Good knowledge of product and service life cycle • Very Good knowledge OSS, BSS, MFS and ICT • Very good knowledge Customer Management process and Systems • Sound knowledge of GSM and Telecom Elements. • Application Architecture and System Integration • knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies • IT Governance knowledge • Strong Planning and project management knowledge • Application Architecture and System Integration Skills/Physical competencies: • Teamwork & Cooperation • Customer Focus • Taking the Initiative • Analytical Thinking, Problem solving and analytical abilities. • Strong interpersonal and communications skills. • Team building abilities • Ability to function under pressure. • Ability to think and articulate thoughts logically • Ability to Multitask 26 April, 2021
