Responsibilities:To maintain record of receipts as well as issuance of items that are going out of the warehouse so as to ensure accuracy and completenessTo be involved in reconciliation of physical stock with the stock in the systemTo oversee that the arrangement of goods has been done in an orderly system within the stock location system so that the stock can be stored easily and retrieved whenever there is a requirement. Similarly, he/she ensures that the stocks stay physically protected in the warehouseTo undertake the function of stock taking and confirm the periodic stock on a regular basis by working closely with the designated staff membersTo supervise the offloading process, the subsequent arrangement of merchandise, material, etc., and consignment so that it can be accessed and identified easilyTo ensure the correct and timely valuation of the inventory and to be involved in directing and managing procedures related to offloading, packing and unpackingTo prepare periodic reports on the activities in the warehouse like the consignment received, the quantity of items received, point of collection and dispatch, stacking number, outstanding balance, etc.To provide the best service needs to the existing as well as the new customers and ensures that each and every customer remains satisfied.Monitor Sales forecast to provide early warning of stock out.Place purchase requests taking into consideration sales forecast, on-going projects, vendor lead times to ensure minimum stock levels are kept at all times.To supervise the work of junior staff in the unitMaintaining ISO documentation and Record KeepingPerform any other duties as assignedRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management and other related fields.Skills and Abilities:Good knowledge of the methods used in keeping records of purchases, receipts and payments and maintaining general suppliesGood knowledge of the fundamentals of inventory controlsNumerical ability to perform rapid and accurate arithmetic computations using a calculatorAbility to effectively use computer applications such as spreadsheet, word processing, email and database software;Ability to use a computerized inventory control system, where applicableAbility to plan and supervise the work of othersAbility to understand and carry out oral and written instructionsKindly Note:Interested persons should please send their CVs or Resume to ****** .Location:AccraEmployment Type:Full TimeSalary Range:Attractive
