Responsibilities
The lab of Dr. Frederick Matsen in the Computational Biology program at Fred Hutch is seeking a highly motivated high school student interested in Bayesian phylogenetics.
This student will be working with our current cohort of interns, writing code for our https://github.com/phylovi/libsbn/ package, writing up some math, and performing computational experiments.
Qualifications
Must be a high school student starting 11th or 12th grade in Fall 2021
Have completed introductory biology
Be interested in learning more about cancer research and related careers
Applicants should have experience in probability, algorithm design, and implementation in C++.
