Job Description
The Head of Strategy and Marketing will be responsible for the development and the leadership of the company’s strategic and marketing practices.
This position requires a leader to be in charge of the development of long term strategic and marketing plans and objectives through the identification of issues and opportunities that could influence the company’s growth and profitability.
The success in this role demands a strong strategic and analytical orientation coupled with exceptional communication skills as well as a highly developed collaborative nature.

Experience (
Essential)
Experience in marketing strategy, content writing, growth strategy, strategic management, and planning, or other related field is a plus
Track record of creating, delivering and evaluating integrated marketing plans
At least 5 years of working experience in a corporate strategy position within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
Proven ability to clearly convey information and instructions, which will determine the effectiveness with which strategies are executed in the company.
Significant experience of managing a team delivering marketing plans and activities and achieving measurable impact
Excellent communication skills for the delivery of regular reports for the business’s leadership
Demonstrate ability to perform standard analyses such as performance analyses, competitive analyses, market analyses, etc.
Strong understanding of industry trends globally and locally.
Ability to develop a compelling business proposition and communicate this orally and in written form
Excellent at designing and implementing marketing strategies to achieve desired results
Experience in managing multiple initiatives at the same time and working under pressure.
Extensive experience in the development and implementation of policy
Evidence of success in a result driven environment
Must know the importance of keywords, search engine best practices, and how to write search engine friendly content.
Strong presentational and influencing skills

Develop and implement innovative marketing and promotional strategies, in line with the marketing plan and the company’s Strategic Priorities and increase brand awareness.
Ensure that the strategy planning process highlights existing business issues, making certain that these issues are thoughtfully addressed by the laid out plans
Work with team members to come up with branding ideas, advertising copy, graphic designs, and promotional materials
Based on marketing reports and sales performance revise strategies accordingly a weekly basis and submit to the Chief Executive Officer
Effective Management
Manage the strategic and marketing planning process to ensure key milestones are achieved
Manage the budget for our strategic marketing campaign and produce monthly reports on figures for the CEO
Provide leadership, direction and support to the wider team where necessary
Perform any other work related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time-to-time by management
Compliance with professional, regulatory, statutory and corporate requirements
Comply with and implement all policies and procedures
Act ethically and with integrity
