General Surgeon - Trust Hospital Company Limited

TheTrust Hospital Company Ltdis seeking experienced, dynamic and results-oriented staff to fill the following vacancy:
GENERAL SURGEON
Key Responsibilities
Attends to all general surgical cases that come to the hospital, including emergency cases and referrals
Ensures the highest clinical standards are met in the provision of surgical care
Performs Outpatient clinics and Ward rounds
Performs Endoscopy (Upper GI, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy)
Ensures regular clinical audits are done to improve quality of care
Facilitates development and updates of clinical protocols and guidelines for the effective management of surgical patients
Contributes to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Provides clinical leadership in the surgical unit
Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Qualification and Experience
The suitable candidate must possess the following:
A medical degree(MBCB, MBBS, MD)
A valid certification with the Medical&Dental Council (MDC)
Postgraduate Fellowship in General Surgery (GCPS, WACS or any other institution recognised by the MDC)
Must possess practical work experience not less than three (3) years post fellowship
Work experience in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy is highly essential
Work experience in Laparoscopic Surgery is an added advantage
Critical, analytic and attention to detail is a requirement for this role
