Job PurposeSupervise and perform all first line electrical maintenanceactivities on the FPSO process and utilities plant in a safe and efficientmanner, being aware of the safety of others, effective utilisation of FPSOsystems and processes related to FPSO operations, ensuring compliance withcompany and statutory requirements and in line with the 35 x Performancestandards / associated assurance tasksProvide and supervise first line electrical maintenanceactivities for Topsides and Engine room/Utilities as directed by relevantDiscipline Supervisor on the FPSO.Supervise preventative maintenance and repair work,shutdowns, isolations and planned maintenance in accordance with the CMMS.Supervise the activities of other electrical technicians,mentoring them and working with them and HR in developing a training programmeto facilitate and support their career development / progression.Core ResponsibilitiesKey Areas of activityFacility Management Systems Maintenance,Standards and ProceduresPTW System MaintenanceCMMS Maintenance activities and improvements andpurchasing activities:Shutdown and Major MaintenanceThese activities include but are not limited to:Supervise planned preventative and Corrective maintenance asdescribed in maintenance management system work instructionsResponsible for weekly monitoring checks on safety andproduction critical equipment, reporting any deviation of set parameters andraise work orders in maintenance management systemSupervise fault finding and diagnostic checks on all vesselequipment, ensuring any repairs are addressed promptly. Ensure critical sparesare available and any discrepancies are addressedComplete and maintain all documentation associated withMaintenance engineering as required for all maintenance operational workactivitiesProvide Engineering Maintenance support to achieve andmaintain the technical and performance integrity of the FPSO FacilityComplete all work activities in accordance with the Facilitystandards, Facility Management procedures and specificationsReport the status of all electrical equipment/systems(including interconnecting systems) primarily to the offshore Maintenancefunction, with a second reporting line to the onshore asset Electrical EngineerSupervise Preventative maintenance and repair work,shutdowns, isolations and planned maintenance in accordance with the CMMSensuring.All maintenance and maintenance relatedactivities are carried out to the highest standardsAll test and inspection routines required by thePlanned Maintenance System are completedProper records/history and reports aremaintainedQualifications &ExperienceHND or Degree in Electrical EngineeringNational Vocation Qualification (NVQ)Certificate III Diploma Instrument Process Engineering.Scottish Vocational Qualification SVQ3 –Maintaining Plant and Systems – ElectricalAt least 8 -10 years offshore oil and gas orrelevant industry experienceSenior authorized Electrical Person for HVisolations/working.Maintenance Operations experienceHV/LV Electrical generation, transformation anddistribution plant experienceSound knowledge of HV/LV switchgear, motors,heaters and transformersSound knowledge of UPS, electrical control,power management and protection systemsMaintenance Management systems experienceAuthorized/ Senior Authorized HV Electricalisolating authorityComp-Ex training/competenceFPSO experience
