Tätigkeitsbereich The Programme for Sustainable Economic Development is a bilateral project commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and comprises four components: financial system development, vocational training, employment promotion for returnees and potential migrants, and digital transformation. The aim of the digital transformation component is to improve the conditions for harnessing digital transformation for employment and entrepreneurship in rural areas. Therefore, it is important to shape the framework conditions for successful and inclusive digital transformation processes at micro, meso and macro levels.The Development worker would be located in either Tamale, Takoradi or Ho. Ihre Aufgaben Advising on the development of Community Information Centers (CICs) as service and competence centers Advising the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC) on organisational development Establishment of digital knowledge products and of digital skills trainings for girls & women Promote local innovation and entrepreneurship trainings Support GIFEC to establish access to eGovernment services in CIC Establish trainings for GIFEC staff and other local on innovative and agile methodologies and approaches Ihr Profil Completed university studies in a social science or business related subject with references to digital transformation processes Practical work experience and in-depth knowledge in advising organisations on digital transformation and digitalization processes Work experience in African countries Practical work experience in rural areas, taking into account the inclusion of women and people with disabilities Technical understanding of digital solutions Deeper knowledge and application experience of agile methodological concepts as well as digital skills trainings Good communication skills and intercultural competencies Fluency in English
