Job Description
Research on industry related topics
Write content by choosing a proper tone in the writing style, adhering to the respective corporations’ style guide
Target content to specific audiences and focus on trending topics
Conduct keyword research and employ SEO best practices to optimize content
Incorporate social media posts in both websites and social media platforms like Facebook or Linkedin
Responsibilities
Create/Write content for:
- Website
- Weekly blog post/newsletters
- Monthly articles
Write clear marketing strategies to promote Africa Dyslexia Organization Agenda.
Produce well-researched content for publication in print or digital format.
Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content or finished projects within deadlines.
May be required to develop related content for multiple platforms, such as websites, email marketing, and videos.
Run day-to-day activities of multiple assigned content projects, communicate status updates, and proactively identify changes in scope of work to ensure appropriate planning measures are taken to assess impacts of scope change.
Seasoned writer with in-depth knowledge in research and content development.
Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal, written, presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to give and receive feedback.
Self-directed with strong project management skills and initiative to learn new applications independently.
Communicate content updates and upcoming releases to all internal stakeholders.
Experience with content management systems required.
Promote content on social media.
Have experience preparing messages for different platforms and media.
May be required to use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results.
Follows content development plan as part of the broader project plan.
Adapt quickly to change and various requests, be agile
Qualification and Requirements
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, marketing or a related field
Ability to communicate excellently in both written and spoken English
He/she should also be adept at promoting content on social media
Must be familiar with digital publishing, and generating traffic and leads for new businesses
Collaborate with co-workers and interface with clients
Self-taught learner willing to read and keep up to date on technological changes

Previous experience with digital and social media tools
Previous content creation experience
