Job Description
Develop an appropriate Haulage strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.
Create, execute and re-evaluate growth strategies and plans aligned to company goals
Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs, researching business opportunities and viable
income streams
as well as drafting and reviewing contracts
Have an in-depth knowledge of haulage services and value proposition
Initiate and implement improvements through, metrics, processes and policies;
Ensure consistent and professional approach to haulage and freight forwarding activities are practiced throughout
the business in compliance with internal policies and specific procedures
Plans, manages and coordinates all activities related to grow the clientele base of the company, building a
healthy portfolio of prospective customers and turning the prospects in actual
clients
Work directly with the clients to determine the most cost-effective haulage solution for goods transportation to
customers.
Actively seek market knowledge for existing and new services and shape the business for efficiency as well as collaborate
with industry players to understand trends locally and internationally
Lead the business in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance
Indicators (KPIs).
